OK not so sure this qualifies as a 3D printed gun
Article covers a guy that build a pistol, that basically has all the innards of a glock. But the exterior is 3D printed design. So the “shell” for the gun is 3D printed, but all the working parts are normal … Continue reading

OK I know what I want to build (snowball machine gun)
OK this is a little overkill, but OH I WANT ONE… http://sploid.gizmodo.com/this-homemade-snowball-machine-gun-shoots-snowballs-unb-1756569187
Another nice automatic sentry
Looks like it was based on open-sentry. Its a nice build…I would have painted the wood black. Pretty cheap build overall too. Airsoft Sentry Gun Keeps Your House Guarded
Make your own Morning Star
Crazy build, but effective. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-a-Medieval-Morning-Star-Chain-Mace-/

How to make darts from stuff at the dollar store
Got some matchsticks, needles, thread, and a piece of paper? You can make a simple dart. http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Darts-made-Out-of-Matches/
Use a bike wheel for a bow (actually more of a slingshot, but you get the point)
The author uses everything off an old bike wheel to make a pretty knifty box. Note that the eye bolts are not from the bike. If I total this up (assuming free wheel) its about $5 US to build. http://www.instructables.com/id/Bow-The-Amazing-Bike-Wheel-Bow/
Interesting 3D printed trigger assembly for a crossbow
Interesting build. The trigger is pretty detailed and looks professional like when done. Rest of the materials are stock PVC pipe and aluminum. http://www.3ders.org/articles/20160108-diy-dudes-put-different-spin-on-3d-printed-weapons-with-full-sized-crossbow.html

Build a shotgun from parts at Home Depot
Interesting build. Only thing that confuses me is how the part that “triggers” the bullet doesn’t fall back on the shooter. http://www.instructables.com/id/Hardware-Store-12-Gauge-Shotgun/
Keep people away with an automated paint ball sentry
I have seen these builds in the past. This is nice one if you are into paintball (you could put it in a defensive spot). It uses an arduino for the motor control and a webcam to target/detect movement. There … Continue reading
So how much paper to stop a 50 cal bullet
7 ream apparently, which is about 3500 sheets. So if you are building a bunker, and have lots of paper available, double up on the stacks of paper crates you you will be OK…well til it rains. http://sploid.gizmodo.com/how-much-paper-does-it-take-to-stop-a-50-cal-machine-gu-1744183162
