Big Brother Xerox for little kids
Basically Xerox is getting a lot of heat down south since in its management of childcare for low/no income, it was going to fingerprint and finger ID kids, funny thing its not the parents tossing a stink. Its the daycare’s … Continue reading

Xerox does Hospitals?
More so the ACS bit, basically it sounds like from the article Xerox does datamining to figure out problems in a hospital…I think (not a well written article) http://www.equities.com/news/headline-story?dt=2012-10-13&val=591299&cat=hcare

Like many developers out there, I have been tinkering with building my own android apps. Below is a nice article about how to create a quality app (not like some I have seen). http://android-developers.blogspot.com/2012/10/building-quality-tablet-apps.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+blogspot%2FhsDu+%28Android+Developers+Blog%29

Where have I been?
Well I started out the week at the Rochester Secrurity Summit http://www.rochestersecurity.org/, which sucked up the middle of the week and put me behind in posts and work this week. That and a few family issues came up with really … Continue reading

Using a Dry Erase Marker to get into a Hotel Room
Well the casing of it anyways. It seems the arduino hack put together at BlackHat2012 to open up hotel-room doors has grown to be more reliable and hard to spot. http://blog.spiderlabs.com/2012/10/pentesting-hotels-with-pens.html

Xerox does Banking?
I am a little confused by the article as to what exactly Xerox did for Banking in India. But they did something (maybe an App?). http://www.heraldonline.com/2012/10/05/4316227/xerox-banking-innovation-accelerates.html

Can Xerox Innovate?
Interesting article that basically says big companies that are public will never innovate successfully unless they tell the stockholders to not look at quarter to quarter earnings, but for the long haul. Xerox is an example in this article. http://tech.fortune.cnn.com/2012/10/05/can-big-companies-innovate/

I miss Anne, Ex-CEO of Xerox talks about Women on Boards
Anne Mulcahy was a good leader and really inspired those that worked for her. Well at least those of use on the ground. Good article/interview where Anne says you should not have women on a company of a board just … Continue reading

Interview with Urusla Burns, CEO of Xerox
A rather odd interview with U.B. Title doesn’t quet line up with the interview. http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/10/02/xerox-c-e-o-on-the-companys-earth-shattering-transformation/

SHA-3 out and official
I got a birdy whom mentioned that I talk about about security, but never put anything up about it here. So unless you are under the security rock somewhere, you have heard about SHA-3 is now officically selected by NIST. … Continue reading
