Make your own relay board

Nice write-up on how to go about do this, but…my 2 cents, you can buy a pre-made board from china for 2-3 dollars.  ANd the parts here are most likely going to cost just as much if not more. http://www.instructables.com/id/12VDC220VAC-relay-module-for-Arduino-homemade/ … Continue reading

SImulator for an Arduino

OK I am not sure I would write something complicated enough to need a simulator with an arduino…but this does look pretty cool.  BUT….when its complete they plan to charge $50 for it.  🙁 http://dangerousprototypes.com/2012/12/22/simulator-for-arduino-v0-98/

Enclosure for high voltage relays

Love this idea, basically put your high voltage solid state relay inside an old laptop power supply.  They are already built to handle A/C electric.  🙂 http://dangerousprototypes.com/2012/12/20/safe-way-of-experimenting-with-solid-state-relays-and-mains-current/

Military using mini copters with cameras

This sounds pretty neat, a robot copter with a camera a soldier can carry around, til you hear that they paid 31 mill for 160 of them. http://hackaday.com/2013/02/05/military-steals-idea-of-anyone-who-ever-tied-a-cellphone-camera-to-quadcopter/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+hackaday%2FLgoM+%28Hack+a+Day%29
