GlassUp – the ghetto Google Glasses
This looks interesting, its an indiegogo project to make a google glass like tool, without the camera and only basic text like functionality. And allot cheaper ($300). I think it could go cheaper than that for what is provided. It … Continue reading

Make an LED infinity mirror
I saw one of these built at RIT Imagine this past May, its a pretty cool looking mirror. http://hackaday.com/2013/07/23/building-a-blinky-infinity-mirror/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+hackaday%2FLgoM+%28Hack+a+Day%29 http://blog.freesideatlanta.org/2013/07/infinity-mirror-prototype-build.html

Add Emg. contact info to lock screen of the phone
OK I am a little torn on this one, its a good idea, but could lead to privacy issues…so…yeah I will do it 🙂 http://lifehacker.com/add-emergency-contact-information-to-your-phones-lock-909275428?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+lifehacker%2Ffull+%28Lifehacker%29
Robin Hood developer release MS code from Samsung, that maybe have …
This is like a made for TV script. A developer/student released a bunch of code that may have come originally from Samsung for the exFAT filesystem (SD cards). That code may have come from Microsoft. And the code looks like … Continue reading

Hate going thru the TSA, Bay $85 and get an EZPass
Well not really an EZPass, but go thru a background check and pay 85 dollars and you get a special pass to get thru the line quicker. http://feeds.wired.com/c/35185/f/661370/s/2f30b84a/sc/4/l/0L0Swired0N0Cautopia0C20A130C0A70Ctsa0Eprecheck0C/story01.htm
Make you own Arduino Metal Detector
Pretty cool build, using an arduino to filter out the noise. The only thing I can think of that would be nice is a better set of directions on how to build this. http://dzlsevilgeniuslair.blogspot.dk/2013/07/diy-arduino-based-metal-detector.html
Better to be a food vendor than a developer in china
Sad part is I sometimes wonder the same thing for developers in the USA after college expenses, dealing with being outdated, outsourced, etc. http://www.ubergizmo.com/2013/07/chinese-game-developer-quits-job-sells-street-food-doubles-his-salary/

3D printing could be bad for your health
Basically the melting of plastic is bad for you (so is toner in printers). The end story, printing once in a while is not so bad, but all the time could lead to issues. http://gizmodo.com/3d-printing-indoors-is-as-bad-for-you-as-smoking-a-ciga-894193776?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+gizmodo%2Ffull+%28Gizmodo%29

Kickstarter project for a watercolor CNC robot
I say this a week ago where Evil Scientists put together a new kit for painting an image with a CNC and watercolors. Neat idea, not so sure I would shell out $300 for one. http://hackedgadgets.com/2013/07/25/watercolorbot/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+HackedGadgets+%28Hacked+Gadgets%29
