Incase you haven’t heard, Xerox posting quarter loss
Several articles out about it. Stock is down (25 cents) but not as much as I thought it would be. I was thinking $2 drop. http://seekingalpha.com/article/3598826-out-of-ink-xerox-in-q3 http://www.stamfordadvocate.com/business/article/Xerox-to-review-structural-options-for-co-6590354.phphttp://www.nasdaq.com/article/xerox-sees-q3-in-the-red-20151023-00087

Just watching the video and how fast it heats up is cool http://hackaday.com/2015/10/23/a-small-1000w-induction-heater/
So following IBM is not a good thing?
Interesting article, it points out that Xerox (thought 10 years behind) is trying to follow in the footsteps of IBM and get out of hardware and into services only. But as the author has pointed out, it didn’t work out … Continue reading

Using security cameras for DDOS
You have to love the IoT’s. Apparently a bunch of security cameras at a mall where compromised and used as part of a DDOS attack. One security group caught on that some of the cameras where down the street and … Continue reading

Hack the fitbit to get into the network
Interesting article where apparently it was found how to hack into a fitbit via bluetooth, and use that to piggyback maleware onto the machine when the fitbit sunk with it. Its a bit of a tails case backdoor. What are … Continue reading

Make you own Homemade CNC nut
I like this build, the author basically built a form, and melted the plastic to the form to make a CNC nut. The plus to this is the “nut” is built inside the form vs a 3D printed method where … Continue reading

Nice looking concrete pot build
I like this build where the author uses leaves to make patterns on the concrete. I wonder how many attempts to make the pots he did before succeeding. http://www.instructables.com/id/Concrete-flower-pot-with-embedded-leaf-motif/?ALLSTEPS
