CNC your molds for pewter
Nice build, the author milled the molds on MFD board on a small CNC, then clamped them together and poured in the pewter (low melting point). http://makezine.com/2016/06/03/cnc-milling-students-create-pewter-casting/

Crazy homemade grass trimmer
PVC pipe, motor, sissors, and a battery (oh and a switch too) and the author built a simple weedwacker. I think I will buy mine for now.
Car charger + 9volt battery + paperclip = charger
Too funny, the author basically is taking advantage of the voltage regulator in the charger to step down the 9 volts to 5 to charge devices. http://www.instructables.com/id/9V-Battery-USB-Charger/
How to make Thermite
Cause you never know when you might need some. I think I will stick to buying it. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-Thermite/
Interesting Rock Tumbler
The author calls this a ball mill. Others know this as a rock tumbler. Its a pretty straight forward build, Take an old cordless drill and attach it to some bars with rollers, put a can on the rollers, and … Continue reading

Adding this to the list of tools to make
I have bought the dremel sanding bits in the past and they are not cheap…well for good ones. This is a much cheaper solution. http://www.instructables.com/id/Easy-Any-Size-Cork-Dremel-Sanding-Bandsdrums/?ALLSTEPS
Make a heavy duty push stick
OMG this thing is huge. Plus side its heavy and your hands are definately far away from the blade. Its also a simple build too. http://www.instructables.com/id/Really-Good-Pusher-Stick/
Make your own cotten candy machine
Nice simple and small cotton candy machien build. Good write up too, but…I am not so sure about using a plastic bowl for the outside with an open flame nearby. I would switch to metal just in case. http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Cotton-Candy-Machine/?ALLSTEPS
