Build a simple EMP out of a bug zapper
Cool build. The author (whom also used a bug zapper for a USB killer) make a simple EMP with a bug zapper. I wonder if its enough to light up a CFL bulb. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-EMP-Gun-/

Brillo is now Andriod of Things

Nice write-up on how to make a wooden ring with simple tools
I like this writeup. The rings look nice too. The author only uses scrape wood and many common tools. http://www.instructables.com/id/Wood-Ring-Quick-Easy-With-Limited-Tools-NO-Drill-P/

Build a simple center finder tool
This one is pretty easy. Could make it in an hour too. I like the plexi addition (see thru). http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Center-Finder-Tool/
Cool lamp build from an old valve cover and some iron pipe
Pretty nice build. What I found really funny is the author sells these for $300 each. Lets see, junkyard parts $30, pipe and wire $20…so $50 in materials. Nice profit margin. http://www.instructables.com/id/Incredible-DIY-Vintage-Valve-Cover-Lamp/
Make your own stickers
Bacially cover a laser printout with packing tape, and soak off the paper. I think you may need a 2nd layer of tape to “stick” the image to something thought. Either way it maybe a good alternative to put labels … Continue reading
