Cleaning a Hazy Window
OK I have a couple of windows like this, Basically the insulation bit of the gas in the window has failed, and you get “stuff” inside it. Like the author, the windows themselves are OK, and are a custom “large” … Continue reading
3D printed adapter to roll toilet paper
They say its getting hard to find again. Anyways this build the author takes one of the giant rolls of toilet paper and rolls it onto another roll that will fit a standard house toilet. https://mrebenezer.blogspot.com/2020/04/toilet-roll-roller.html

Interesting build for making multiple silicone mold parts
The author used multiple molds and one clamp to make multiple molds at once (instead of one at a time). Its an interesting build overall.

Turn an Old Phone Into a Smart Doorbell Camera With Facial Recognition
The phone is basically turned into a wifi camera, an RPI is used for an image server, and then cloud based apps for the rest. https://www.open-electronics.org/turn-an-old-phone-into-a-smart-doorbell-camera-with-facial-recognition/
Adding a coolant system to harbor freight bandsaw
Nice build. I worked in a machine shop in the past and adding coolant to a cutter can extend the cutter’s blades lift and make smoother cuts. I love the catch tray he added on. Note there are 2 videos … Continue reading
clever crane build for truck
I like how it uses a pull out leg for support, and an electric winch. Unfortunately most US trucks don’t have a gap in the frame to do this, of course the bed on this looks homemade too, so I … Continue reading

Making realistic flapping dragon wings
For a costume. Nice build overall with an arduino controlling the wings. https://www.instructables.com/Arduino-Dragon-Wings-1/
Use RemoteXY to control a robot arduino
Basically its a wizard for creating an “app” to control an arduino via wireless. Seems pretty neat.
Making a pinwheel from a soda can.
Nice build, Only thing I would do a bit different is how the shaft/pinwheel is connected together. https://www.instructables.com/Soda-Can-Pinwheel-1/
Another nice CNC for hot-wire cutter
This one is pretty impressive in that its more 3D than other foam cutters I have seen that are 2D. It has the base build similar to a rep-rap.
