Convert a hand grinder into a plunge saw

This isn’t half of a bad idea.  The author basically takes a grinder and puts it on a compound miter like setup.  This would be a simple way to cut off steel bar/pipe (currently I put the bar on a bench and clamp it down, then cut it by hand with a grinder or saw).  You can get hand grinders for 10-20 dollars, heck alot cheaper than a chop saw.
