Article goes on how it talked to the CEO of Time Warner who does not see there a need or demand for gigabit ethernet. Me, with all the devices now connecting to the internet, I see a need. But then again the cable companies have a quazi monopoly in most places for broadband internet, so why would they put money into updating their infl. for this if they don’t have too…gee this sounds allot like the early/mid 1990’s with the telco’s saying they don’t need folks going over a given baud rate…hummm.
