Amazon provides encryption key managment

There doesn’t seem to be a month that goes by that amazon hasn’t added in a new service to its cloud.  This time its called CloudHSM, and involves hardware encryption key managment?  Once I say the roughly 1300 hundred a month pricetag, I stopped looking.
