I love these articles, they try to point to the “high demand” for tech skills. What is really happening is there is a high demand for skills that the person know exactly what to do AND is really cheap. If you look closer you can see many of the visas are going to outsourcing companies. If you look to the non-hot spots for tech people in the US, you can find many that are un-employeed. Also many employers no longer will train employees. Many of the un-employeed could be re-trained, if someone was willing to help offset the costs.
