Android powered printer

Samsung (not Xerox) has an office based set (10 of them) printers that are run on the Android OS.  Looks pretty slick, but I can’t tell if the UI is a separate controller from the actual printer.  In other words if they just slapped a tablet on for the UI and there is a separate system for the “printing” part.  It sounds like not since there is print preview, and other print esenctric features.  Another thing that I can’t figure out is if there will be an app store that 3rd party add on’s could be added too.
