Xerox seems to be hiring more temp workers

Don’t know if you have noticed, but I have that since this year started the announcement for “temp” call center workers by Xerox, typically in the over 100 range, has become popular.  Not sure if this is a new trend (contractors are easier to lay off) or something else.
