Waterproof matches with leftover nail polish

I was trying to figure out what to do with some leftover nail polish, and stumbled onto this article.  basically you dip, or paint the polish on the matches and bang, waterproof matches.  The author also mentions you can do this by dipping the matches in melted wax.  But this is much easier.
