Need a new computer monitor, buy a TV

I just checked prices on New Egg and this article still applies.  Basically the author is saying its better to go buy a 4K TV and use that for your system (39 inch display) vs the same for a computer monitor based LED display.  I just checked prices and the TV is around 320 now, a monitor…well a good 29 inch will run you $500….
