Another simple CNC build with an arduino

I have been seeing a new interest in home built CNC’s lately.  This one the author built for $200 Euro (230 US).  I think he could have gone cheaper (there is a nice simple CNC with arduino clone on EBay for $28 for example).  But still its a good start.  The Y axis scares me a bit, with only the threaded rod holding things up.  Actually if I did cheap it out a bit more (generic arduino, harbor frieght drill, etc) I think this could have been done for $150.
