New IoT outlet Outlink

OK this looks pretty cool, its another internet enabled wall outlet which works with the Wink Hub.  You can use it to set timers, monitor electricity usage, etc etc.  But….its $50 a whack.  Which is cheaper than a Belkin WEMO that is external and only has one outlet….but still.  $50?  I did a bit more looksee into this, and its being sold on Quirky, which seems to be a kickstarter like site.  So…I wonder about quality too.
