Nice looking and simple shelf you can make with 2x4s and some 3D printed parts
I like this shelf build. One thing I would change is the right angle brackets you can buy cheaper (and made from metal). The tops….not so much. https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-3D-Printed-Book-Shelf/

Nice write-up on how to convert your RPi to be a Google Assistant
So, want a google home but don’t want to shell out $100. Have a spare RPi? This looks like a good build to try out. http://www.instructables.com/id/Voice-Activated-Google-Assistant-for-Raspberry-Pi/

2 wires and a 9volt battery keep the slugs away
I got a kick out of this build. Simple way to keep slugs out of the raised garden bed. An Electric Fence for Snails and Slugs
Another nice fire log build
I just tossed out some cardboard tubes too. Only downside to this build …well 2, is cutting a pot up and the time it takes to do this. I have made many smaller versions of this build. But never something … Continue reading
Make your own chaser light show
I like this build. Its pretty clever. Basically its a circus style light. Would I make this? No, way too much work. But still looks pretty good. http://www.instructables.com/id/Chasing-Lights-Marquee-Sign/

Make a fire bowl
Pretty simple build. I like how the author used some disposable bowls from a picnic. I wonder if another mod could be to add a gas based (propane) line to this instead. https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-a-Fire-Bowl/

A simple cheap tape dispenser
The second video is nice since it doesn’t require a bunch of tape guns. http://makezine.com/2017/06/22/making-a-better-tape-dispenser-with-adam-savage-and-laura-kampf/
Simple write up to cheapify the aTiny
Basically how to make one from just the chip. I think I would spend the $3 for one myself. But if you need to have a bunch of them….maybe… https://www.instructables.com/id/1-Smallest-Arduino-DIY/
