Making giant eyeballs
Pretty clever build. Author uses kid bounce balls to paint the eyes on. I wonder if there is something else I could use. http://www.instructables.com/id/Giant-Eyeball-Decor/
Harddrive magnets + paint can
And you can go fishing for metal loose on floors and the ground. Too funny, guess this would be a good fix if you are doing your roof and loose alot of nails in the process. http://www.instructables.com/id/Magnet-Fishing-Reusing-Harddrive-Magnets/
Use and RPi with an old speaker
Its using a version of RPi called MusicBox. Have not heard of it before, but it looks cool. I have some older RPis (original) that this maybe a good re purposing use for. http://www.instructables.com/id/Turn-Your-Old-Speaker-in-Smart-Speaker-With-Raspbe/

Build a simple DC motor
Nice build. Cheap too (well not so much the copper wire bit). http://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-DC-Motor-1/

Nice little mini water pump
Nice build that you can print out with a 3D printer for a really small water pump. Just not so sure I would have a need for such a small one. I have to say it is pretty impressive. http://www.instructables.com/id/Mini-Water-Pump-1/

Interesting Hot Wire Cutter build
Good on the cheap materials. Easy to build too. http://www.instructables.com/id/Scrappy-Hot-Wire-Cutter/
Make a wave generator
Nice project with an arduino controller. Could be useful for other builds too. Build Your Own Wave Tank

Cool tape measure tool
I like this one better than another one I have seen. This one is a bit more universal for a bunch of different tape measures. The author does a good job explaining how to design and build your own too. … Continue reading
Cool magnetic power connector build
I like this build. Pretty simple overall. http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Magnetic-Connectors-1/
This may change things with using Teensy over Arduino UNO’s to drive motors
One of the reasons the mini like arduinos havent picked up a lot on motor control is cause they are great for one motor at a time, but multiples, not so much . The author has written a library to … Continue reading
