3D print a skateboard carrier for your bike
Took me a minute to figure out how this works. Clever build overall 3D Printed Skateboard Mount for Bikes

Cool underwater camera build
Pretty simple build. Basically hts an RPi used to take pictures for hours underwater. The author had to custom order the glass on the front, but everything else is pretty cheap stuff. https://hackaday.io/project/21222-pipecam-low-cost-underwater-camera

Crankshaft, another carputer
This is built onto of OpenAuto, and looks like its a simplified version of it. Would be worth checking out. https://hackaday.com/2018/02/26/crankshaft-open-source-car-computer/
Make concrete magnets for the fridge
Builds off the idea of the concrete handles, but instead use magnets in them to stick everything to the fridge. http://www.athomeinlove.com/diy-concrete-magnets/
Make a spot welder
Ironically I have a bunch of these caps too. Basically the author uses the caps to provide the “voltage”. Little terrifying on the build since there is the possible to overcharge and blow the caps with this setup. http://www.instructables.com/id/Homemade-Spot-Welding-Machine-DIY/
Simple and cheap park bench
This could make a good boy scout project, build a whole bunch of these to put around trails at a park. Downside, I have a feelign in sme states you can’t use these benches, due to lawsuits. https://www.familyhandyman.com/woodworking/projects/build-a-wooden-bench-for-less/view-all/

Huge drawing machine
This has to be one of the largest Polargraph’s I have seen. They are pretty simple machines and the author did release “some” of the project files on thingiverse. But not the motor mounts or CNC based plans (only 3D … Continue reading

A simple stand for a tablet or phone from concrete
The directions don’t go over how the 2nd version hollows out the back, but you can get the general idea. The general “shape” comes from a popcorn box. http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-CONCRETE-Concrete-iPad-Stand/
Build a screw based RC
I actually have a bought one like this. Its a nice build to go over snow and stuck (and sand in this case). https://hackaday.com/2018/02/25/screw-drive-tank-is-radio-controlled-3d-printed/
Cool IC Tester build
Seems to have a pretty extensive test set too. Good way to verify a chip is working, or that its what you think it is. The board you can order (author opensourced it) and its nothing but solder points for … Continue reading
