3D printers are not like 2D printers

Interesting article that goes on about how 3D is so much cooler than your standard printer.  My 2 cents, from the “technology” area, there is alot of tech that comes from printers (2D) that could easily apply to 3D.  And with 2D engineering houses (HP, Xerox, Lexmark for example) eliminating positions for “2D” engineers, this maybea good place to go to next.
