Add in a remote control car to the computer

This is cool, the author took an arduino and used it to control an R/C car via its own remote.  Now using an arduino is a bit expensive for the interface between a PC and the car.  But this kickstarter project http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/digistump/digispark-the-tiny-arduino-enabled-usb-dev-board is only 8-10 dollars, which is much cheaper.  Better yet would be to port this to TI’s launchpad.
