This is a fluff article about Xerox being careful about the cloud tech, but what caught my eye was this qoute:
“Finally, Mr. Little says that he hopes having common compensation systems will reduce costs. Xerox spends $7 billion in compensation yearly and the prospect of even taking 1% out of the costs could save a tremendous amount of money, he said. “I wish we could do it faster,” he said, adding, that change management with 144,000 people isn’t very easy”
Stephen Little is the CIO for Xerox. Depending on the interpretation, it sounds like Xerox is going to cut costs by leveling out its compensation over all employees. So some poor saps are going to see less in their wallets over time.
